After what was technically the lowest scoring week of the season, with the fewest amount of points available and the lowest average manager score, Wheelers took full advantage and amazingly drew level with Spartak at the top of the pile.
It was already going to be an amazing haul of points before Monday night after Ramsey's hat-trick, but new signing Deulofeu popped up with a goal and an assist on his Wheelers debut to make sure Walters finished the week level with Spartak at no. 1:
Walters was understandably overjoyed:
"What a Herculean effort. On October 31st we said it would take us 9 weeks. Technically it took us 14, but we are there. 831 long hard days and we are back at the top and I’m absolutely delighted, especially by the manner in which we obliterated Spartak and their 34 point buffer from last week. It was a real display of intent and the gauntlet has now been laid down to the rest."
"Special thanks must go to 50 Shades and their manager Adam Pritchard though, by the way he handled his Harry Redknapp moment in the transfer market, and handed over the man that got us the decisive points to put us in this position. We will remember the way you dealt with your misdemeanour with dignity and I’m sure it will go a long way to enhancing your reputation within the SFP."
The SFP Cup returns this weekend, as the final 8 begin their quest for a Semi Final spot.
In the first head-to-head, Crackers face The A Team, a fixture that hasn’t been played out in 14 years, and has only occurred twice before. Pete has never beaten Martin, with Edwards winning the 2003 clash 2:0, while in the 2004 qualifier it ended 1:1.
Next up, Spartak meet Rob-O-Klopp for the 5th time in their SFP Cup histories. A more evenly matched affair, they’ve both won twice and played out one draw.
The battle of the galacticos sees current holders and two-time winner Butt Kickers go up against three-times winner Magicmen. Only once in twelve meetings has the fixture ended in a draw, with Baynes having the majority of joy over the years with 8 wins. Most notably Baynes’s men dumped Jermy Snr. out by winning both legs of last years Semi Finals.
In the final tie or the round, it’s an all Harleston affair with Inter Yourmum FC V Just The Tip. These two have met 3 times before, and Patterson has come away victorious on every occasion. But with Aguero, Martial, Hazard and Walcott all on song, will McNamara end this run of defeats?

The 5ASide Cup Quarter Finals conclude this weekend, with the outcome of all but one tie surely already decided.
The A Team, Wheelers and Bayern Munson all take double-digit leads into their second legs. It seems Jermy Snr has already congratulated Munson manager Pritchard on reaching the Semi Finals:
”Congratulations to Bayern Munson on reaching the Semi Finals. They are the team we needed to avoid to progress, but if we were to win this cup we’d need to face them at some point. Better to get it out of the way. Full credit to Manager Pritchard for giving the competition the respect it deserves. A worthy opponent."
The only tie with any real fight left in it is the Willian Dollar Baby Jesus V Under Pressure match-up. Both managers are still keen to challenge for the title, so a 5ASide distraction is not what either man needs.

Inter Yourmum chief Ed McNamara claimed the January MOTM award, after a barnstorming month.
Boasting an on form Martial and Townsend, along with a newly rejuvenated Walcott and Barkley, to add to an already all-firing Aguero and more-hit-than-miss Hazard, McNamaras auction masterplan could be coming to light. With all that firepower to hand, if a top four challenge doesn’t materialise, Inter Yourmum FC must be one if the favourites to reach the SFP Cup final?
Atletico Magicmen continued there resurgence too, following a superb January with a points-filled February too. Manager Jermy still believes a title defence is still possible. Baynes Jnr. Adam Walters, Martin and Nick all had good months too.
